FEST

Financial Ecosystems for Systemic Transformation - creating coherence and impact in a chaotic world of financial transformation.

About

FEST (Financial Ecosystems for Systemic Transformation) is a network dedicated to addressing the multifaceted crises of our time—social inequality, environmental degradation, and economic instability—through innovative financial transformation. It seeks to orchestrate systemic change by facilitating greater access and flow of finance for transformative initiatives aiming to tackle these global challenges. The network's mission is ambitious: to accelerate the development of the financing systemic transformation (FST) field, a realm still in its infancy concerning its scale and depth of impact.

FEST operates under a meticulously crafted Theory of Transformational Change (ToTC), derived through a collaborative 'Three Horizons' process that assesses the current reality, envisions a desired future, and outlines a transformative pathway between the two. This comprehensive approach recognizes the complexity inherent in systemic transformation, aiming to foster a well-connected, capable foundational community committed to a 3-5 year development pathway. Through initiating working groups, collaborative experiments, and leveraging a deep understanding of subsystem dynamics, FEST aspires to mould a recognised, supported, and continuously evolving field of financing systemic transformation. This strategic framework not only addresses the urgent crises of our era but also strives to lay the groundwork for sustainable, inclusive future financial ecosystems.
