CanAdapt Network Assistant
I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of climate change, particularly in the areas of climate adaptation, mitigation, climate science and education, climate equity issues, and disaster risk reduction. My academic background, with a Master of Climate Change and an undergraduate degree in Environment, Resources and Sustainability, coupled with a minor in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo, has helped me recognize the immediate need for climate action through awareness-building, restoration and rehabilitation, decarbonization, and more!
My affiliation with notable organizations and government departments, including Environment and Climate Change Canada, Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada, the University of Waterloo, and the Waterloo Climate Institute, positions me to address the complex challenges of climate change through an interdisciplinary lens.
In my current role as a Network Assistant, I leverage my data management skills, research and content curation abilities, social media marketing and communications acumen, event support capabilities, and community engagement expertise to contribute significantly to our networks.
